High Cholesterol at Whataburger

Calorie intake is the main concern for people with high cholesterol while dining at a fast-food restaurant like Whataburger. Well, you can always try the Lighter & Smaller options from the menu to cut down your fat intake. Opting for grilled sandwich or burgers are preferred compared to double meat or triple meat cheesy burgers which contain high cholesterol.

Foods to Avoid at Whataburger for High Cholesterol

Cut down on your meat intake to control your high cholesterol. You must skip Double Meat Whataburger and Triple Meat Whataburger at all costs. Whatacatch Dinner may sound tempting but the famous fish sandwich is also full of calories and unhealthy fat. 5 Star! This place is amazing. Came in after leaving Mansion for some food and drinks. My gf got the plain burger with the garlic aioli and I got the breakfast style burger fries, and a couple beers. Angel helped us out and was amazing Me and my gf both appreciated him and his awesome service. The food.. I don't know where to begin. It was one of these I want to keep chewing and not swallow type of meals, the kind were you wish it never ended. I could eat here every day. The establishment was clean considering it was around 3am. Great decor and good vibe. I would highly recommend! Make sure to see Angel.

BEST QUINOA BURGER EVER!!! If you know of another place that has badass quinoa burgers please let me know otherwise this is my go-to spot! I don't eat meat, except fish, so when a friend of mine suggested we go here I thought "I'm not going to be able to eat anything except for fries" but BUT BUT they actually have veggie burgers and THEY DON'T TASTE LIKE SHIT! They actually taste like burgers :-) You can add whatever topics you like, they have a long list to choose from, and they also have the option of choosing fries or onion rings with your order and again you can choose if you want add ons to that too (i.e loaded fries, cheese fries, etc).

Geneka and nataly are seriosuly the best.. I didn't know my order and they had the most patience ever. I would come her all day bc of the service and don't forget the food. Was on my way to five guys then ran into this spot and honestly.. best burger in south beach...

This is a late night review. I stopped by BURGERFI after a couple nights in a row of going to Peppers. This was exactly what the doctor ordered. The place was empty which meant no line in between myself and a tasty burger. The customer service was good and I got a free soda on account of it being my birthday (+1). They have a variety of options as well as a custom build your own burger menu. I went with the custom and got a double burger with all my favorite toppings, pickles, fried egg, jalapenos, lettuce, cheddar cheese etc. So here's the burger critique. The bun was good, it had a nice texture and was not soggy. They also give your burger a brand that says BURGERFI. The actual burger were pretty tasty, not quite the enjoyable drip-fest that you get from 80/20 beef, but still solid. The toppings all seemed fresh and had either the crunch or spicy that I like from my burgers. I would give the burger an overall rating of about 3.5/5. It didn't disappoint but it didn't wow me either. I'd say it was a good change of pace from the late night tacos our group always seemed to end up eating. Worth a stop if your just looking for a solid burger.

This place employs the rudest staff. Beware and only go if you feel like having their counter staff snap or yell at you and have your food shoved at you. This food is not worth the money you spend on it. Save your money.

So as I continue on my quest for the best veggie burger, I stumbled upon Burger Fi on SoBe. We decided to stroll in here after Yelps a Cabaret, we needed some heavy, greasy food after all those free drinks lol This place was actually recommended by the employees in the near by Soles shoe store. They were so enthusiastic about us trying this place so I said, "alright, why not try something new, I mean I've been to cheeseburger baby a few times already" The 1 star is for my veggie burger, and my onion rings. And honestly, my dates burger just wasn't good enough to bump them to 2 stars. Double cheeseburger, bacon and cheese- My wonderful plus one does not eat veggies, has to eat them, but does not most of the time lol. He's your typical "real men don't eat lettuce" type of dude lol. The patty was small, they both were. And I don't mean, Shake Shack small, where they are small but dense. This was a little disappointing for him, but he said the flavor was good. Definitely not a 5 Guys burger, but he put texture and taste somewhat in that category. Veggie Burger- Unfortunately, I have the same thing to say about this one than the others I've had. Grain and no veggies. This patty was mostly quinoa, so I ordered it open face. Same thing for me, a small patty and for some reason was crunchy lol I though I was having a croqueta in between two slices of lettuce and tomato. It wasn't bad....but wasn't what I wanted. Fries- Pretty good. Hand cut fries with skin and all, just how I like it. Onion rings- Huge, for nothing. They were really big and texture wise, made perfectly but no flavor at all. Just the sweet onion and bland batter. Disappointing. Would I return, nope! By the way everything came out to $30! With a Cheeseburger Baby, 5 Guys, and Shake Shack around the corner, why would I come back here!

Don't be deterred by the 3 stars, this place really was A-OK. I got the Supreme Burger from the "Secret Menu", which was pretty good. I really liked that the burger came with a potato bun, which I haven't seen at a burger joint yet. For my fries, I got Cajun. These were really good, and you are given lots. My main issue was that the soda machine ran out of Diet Coke as I was trying to get some, and when my friend told the employees about this they said they'd replace it, but never did. We waited about 30 minutes and nothing was done. The food was good, but I don't think this location offers the best service.

I came here for dinner right after the Artcade Elite event this past Wednesday. i have never had a bad experience at other BurgerFi locations, and this one was not an exception. I had their VegiFi burger, which consists of a veggie burger with a crispy quinoa crust on it, as I've recently started to acquire a liking for veggie burgers, with fries and a coke. As I crunched down on the burger, I could feel the crunchiness of the quinoa mixed with the veggie inside the burgers plus the topping of lettuce, tomato, and their BurgerFi sauce, which I always find intoxicating. I also like that BurgerFi has the freestyle Coke machine. Nothing like an orange flavored Sprite to wash it all down with. Highly recommended.

Today me and my daughter decided to hunt for an amazing Burger... we had recommendations from friends, but BurgerFi sounded tempting... so off we go. What a pleasant surprise! The place (on Washington) is large, nice Deco, very friendly attendants (they gave us a quick summary of the options when we told her that it was our first time there). We went full Monty: large onion rings (awesome), Red Velvet Shake (delicious), BAD burger (BAD= Breakfast All Day Burger.. Natural Angus burger, American cheese, hickory bacon drizzled with maple syrup, fried egg, hash browns, grilled diced onions, and ketchup )... about a million calories, and very worth it. To top it off: a Corona Bottle, ice cold (after all this is Miami Beach, hot hot hot). Burger was tasty and juicy, great combination of ingredients. My only gripe: it is so large that it falls apart, specially because the bun is not very consistent. This cost 1 star of my rating. Onion rings were truly excellent. Note: price is on the high side for a casual restaurant. Recommended!

Late night visit 12:30am. Space was very clean and organized. Manager Daniel greeted the guest ahead of me and asked if had been here before. I hadn't so I was happy the guest said it was his first visit. Manger continued through all the offerin

I consider myself a burger connaisseuse. Despite this place not having 4+ star reviews, I went with my intuition that it would be good as Elevation Burger in my hometown of Austin has delicious burgers and lackluster reviews. I got the single burger with American cheese, extra pickles, lettuce, tomatoes, and raw onions. My husband got the double. We ordered the bucket of fried as well. The burger is DELICIOUS. The fries are perfect: hot, hand-cut, crispy on the outside, "creamy on the inside" as I read in another Yelp fries review. I was shocked that a bottle of beer was $5+ but maybe that's because we're in South Beach. I wanted an awesome burger during my honeymoon and I got it!

My mom (46) brought me (22) to this restaurant. She told me it was one of the best burgers she's had and that they're even better when you're coming from the club late night. The food was great. Reminded me of five guys, just a little pricier. The reason I'm taking 3 stars off is due to the customer service. I went on May 29, 2015 around 12:30am. The restaurant had about 7 customers not including myself and my mother in there. We were met with an attitude from the female hostess at the cashier. During our dining experience I witnessed the same female hostess arguing with the cook loudly and even throwing a cup of ice water over he counter into the kitchen. When my mother asked her for a milkshake she replied with an attitude, "We don't have milkshakes we have malts". She was over all rude, loud, and even used her phone at the counter most of the time we were there. Definitely will be returning at a different part of the day. Hoping that the day time employees can provide better customer service.

I spent two months of my summer in Miami and BurgerFi is probably one of the only things I miss about Miami. Everything I had consumed here was good and the best part----they're open late, real late. After-hours the blaring hip-hop/rap music and sometimes dancing employees can be a overwhelming, but don't let that detour your mouth. Their fresh cut fries with parmesan cheese and herbs I can personally recommend. My mouth is watering just thinking about it.

Very bad experience and such a dirty place. First of all we waited 20 minutes to have only 1 burger and 5 extra minutes to get a shake. The shake was completely undrinkable, it was extremely thick that we had to add almost a glass of water to be able to have a small sip. One of the soda machines was broken and the whole area around it was sticky as if someone had dropped their soda before and it wasn't cleaned. At the end it was just another shameful SoBe experience with very poor quality and service.

This place is a cross between 5 guys and shake shack. The burgers are yummy but not gourmet. It's nicely decorated clean and pretty big. They have draft beer which is a big plus. The fries are delicious and they have plenty of things to choose from. The price is right and the staff is friendly so as a fast food option this is a cool place. This isn't the type of place I would crave or make a point to go back to but I would definitely not hesitate to stop in here if I were in the area.

BurgerFi is great! I am curious about the name, though. I noticed several businesses that have "FI" at the end of their name. The hambugers are so good. They are kind of tiny, so if you are hungry, get the double patty. I ordered mine with American cheese, lettuce, pickles and BurgerFi sauce. A great choice! The onion rings are quite honestly the best ones I have ever tasted. The batter was so crispy and flavorful! The downside was the mocha shake....it tasted of a thick, artificial syrup - not a rich and creamy dairy product. Needed to add more milk and ice cream to it. Nasty and I had to throw it away after two sips. The location is not very picturesque. It's in kind of a seedy, run down area. We ate outside and were accosted by bums. The atmosphere inside is bare and dark, so there was no good alternative except to pack my stuff to go and eat it at home. The staff was really nice, which is a big plus.

This place has good burgers. I got the veggie burger and it was pretty tasty. The only thing is I think it's a little overpriced. I expected a large burger but it was the size of a regular frozen patty. Other than that, it's worth a visit at least once and they're open until 5 am so it'd be a great spot after partying.

Good menu with lots of food and drink options. Average chili cheese hot dog that was borderline salty but very decent french fries with a really tastey cuban spice topping (there are lots of topping options which was nice). The wait wasn't long and there was plenty of seating both indoors and outdoors. Best part.. open til 5am. There is cheaper but competitive street parking as well as a parking lot behind here which charges $10/hour-- expensive! Was able to catch some basketball on the TV's and they were bumping great background music, not gonna lie.

This burger place is decent. It tastes along the lines of five guys but not quite as good. You can build your own burger or choose from some specific burgers on the menu. The fries were just really basic steak fries, I'd pass on those if I were to go here again.

  • Norma G.

First time I eat here. The burgers were perfectly cooked and the fries were tasty. I love the fact that you can see outside and "people watch", there's always something going on Washington. The place wasn't busy and it was kept very clean.

  • Dre B.

BurgerFi seemed an oasis of great food the first time I was there; after eating at the SoBe location twice I am slightly less enthusiastic. The burgers cost just a bit too much for the quality of food you receive -- greasy, with not-that-high-quality of ingredients. A burger and fries cost me $15. The ambience is cool -- big seating area with a few TVs and it's kept very clean. Several outside tables also. Doubt I'll be eating here much in the future however.

They have a wonderful selection of craft beers here! My gf and I enjoyed their awesome fries as well. The whole staff was really nice too. I can't say anything about the burgers because we didn't try any but their fries and beer are awesome!

Is s tuesday yet the line is long. There was one fast chef cook in the bag and some other guy hanging out doing nothing. The register boy took our order drinks and suggested items he was good and fast. However there are people coming and I will waiting for our food. There should be more people cooking

It took me 1 minute to write this review and 15 minutes to get my shit tasting vanilla milkshake. Better hope the cashier guy is in a good mood or you might end up waiting 45 mins for a small cheeseburger. Don't come here if your hungry.

Reading recent reviews made me hesitant to try this place but I gave it a go. We ordered to go since their bathrooms were both out of service but that's ok. Prices were not that bad compared to Miami prices. Food actually did not take long. Was satisfied until I went back to my hotel and realized they gave me the wrong burger. I didn't want to go back and complain so I ate it. The burger was really good despite it not being what I ordered. They would get 4 starts had my burger been right and 5 stars had I felt more welcome when I went it. But overall, not a bad experience.

This place is pretty good. Burger meat taste good. I wouldn't recommend the single burger (way to small) I was thinking the double would be to big but definitely not the case. The fries on the other hand are opposite. Order the regular size bc the overload the bag for you and you get a lot. And they also taste pretty good

While on vacation in Miami with girlfriends one of our fun filled nights led us here to BurgerFi. It was an evening of typical SoBe festivities like drinking and beaching and then several encounters with a phantom roller blader named China. He would blade by us as we strolled through the streets chanting "Check Out BurgerFi". It was one of those things that just lingered on our minds; even much later into the night. Not only was he a memorable blader LOL.. he was such a cheerful person. As fate would have it, BurgerFi was on our way back home. And of course, there we met China yet again! He was more than an accommodating person. He was personable and very attentive. The cherry on top was the incredible food. I mean, by far the best veggie burger we've ever had and tasty fries with a side of garlic, Parmesan and herb. It was gone in 60 seconds. We hadn't expected to checkout any fast food spots on this trip (especially because there are plenty of exotic and fun themed restaurants in the area), but China gave us something to look forward to at BurgerFi. We all agreed that we will definitely be back for more! This gentleman needs to be praised for his efforts and extraordinary services. Thank you again!

I was walking around South Beach on a sunny Sunday afternoon and needed a protein fix, so I decided to check out BurgerFi since they were having a "buy 2, get 1 free" beer promotion. The first question that came to my mind was "what does BurgerFi mean"? I had an idea that it might be a take on the Marine Corps' motto "Semper Fi" (Latin for always loyal) so I asked the girl at the counter.....she didn't know. I would think that would be the first thing they learned in training, but I guess not. I went to their website but there is no explanation there either. The place is sort of a Shake Shack clone...with extra emphasis on "natural ingredients" and "sustainable"...which seems more like a gimmick than something they are actually passionate about. The design of the place is faux industrial chic, with "recycled" furniture and "energy saving" giant fans.....do they really need so much validation for their minute efforts to save the planet? To their credit, the burgers are tasty and not too expensive ($6 for their signature double) and the beer selection is ok....had a few Sweetwater 420 IPAs, BUT what really turned me off was seeing one of the employees emerge from the kitchen wearing his "pants on the ground" idiot gangster style, showing his boxer clad butt to the world. Seriously? There is no way that management should allow this...it shows a complete lack of respect for the people eating there....and for that reason, I probably won't go back.

I am a HUGE shake shack fan. These guys may have done it better. The burgerfi cheeseburgers are double patties and are nice and juicy. The fries are much better than shake shack as they are fresh hand cut fries that actually taste like potatoes! So good. And the bun has their stamp on it which is a cool touch :) the people that work there however are super unhelpful. I have never been to one before so obviously I didn't know what I wanted so I saw the burgerfi cheeseburger on the menu and when I said I wanted the cheeseburger the guy gave me an attitude! A little help for the people that don't have this establishment back home would be nice and would make them feel much for comfortable about trying a new place!

This place is delicious! A bit pricey for the burger itself but everything was made as ordered and the juicy patties makes up for it. Also, their hand-sized onion rings are amazing mainly because the batter is just perfect.

This shack is a nice place to kick it. It has a great atmosphere, the food was great and the price was reasonable. However I choose to place three stars because of Michael(register guy), who was very impatient with first time guests who were being "too picky and pissing me off". Michael told me that if I were to continue bothering him he would "get your food spit on". Besides him.. Great place

Great spot to relax and have a burger. The music is chill and general. ALSO, the customer service is amazing. One employee named Geneka B, was very welcoming, attentive, and helpful. I am from NY and I would definitely come back to this specific BurgerFi if I ever return to Miami Beach.

This is a good option on the beach, relatively cheap and relatively good quality, especially considering the value. Usually it doesn't take a long time to get your food, although I've never been at the very peak. This was a 3.75 in my book, which I would have rounded up to 4, but it's dropped to 3.25 which rounds down (see update below). Ambiance is good, it's a big place, newish, they have Big Ass Fans-brand fans on the ceiling which are cool to look at. You can get: - Burgers! Including a burger made out of brisket (which I didn't find to be significantly more special than their regular burgers, which are quite tasty) - There's a decent number of topping choices, and you can build your own burger - Hot dogs, including a Wagyu Kobe version, which was again nothing special on top of the regular in my book - Fries are no joke! If you want to do some serious damage, get them topped with Parmesan Cheese & Herbs, they're amazing - "Concrete" Custards, frozen desserts, including Key Lime Pie flavored - Mexican Coke made with real sugar not HFCS - Wine - Beer, including the excellent (for a mainstream offering) Rebel IPA (made by Sam Adams) It's a popular sport at night too, and it's not hard to see why -- you can get your calorie fix while having a drink w/o breaking the bank. Update 2/19/2015: Place is going down in every respect. - First, they try to drum up business by having someone outside, the person on this particular visit looked kinda scruffy, completely plausible to think he was selling something instead of inviting you in, and didn't even recite the script as I walked in, just kinda mumbled something unintelligible. When they just opened, the guys who own/run it were there a lot and kept on top of service, now that it's been here for a bit there's less attention. There's potential and it was better only months ago, if you're reading make sure to do a regular checkup of operations at this location. - Second, it used to be that you could pick unlimited free toppings for a Cheeseburger, today I was told that's no longer the case and you only get 2. Still ok since burgers already come with lettuce, onion & tomato and you can pick 2 more things, but that was definitely an attraction, even if only in the mind. - Third, the buns on my burger were cold, to the point that it cooled the patties down too. The cheese wasn't melted at all and just tasted all wrong, like the buns were taken out the freezer and only half-warmed. I'm gonna count it as a fluke and give them another chance, but not a good sign.

Overprice, and really small not so good burgers, we wait 15 minutes and the fries were cold including the bread. Definitely not recommended. Go to burger king one block away. better, cheaper, and warm food!!!

I've only been to this place once but I loved it. My friends and I were just roaming around looking for a somewhere to grab a quick dinner and one of them suggested stopping at Burger Fi. I ordered a red velvet shake but unfortunately they said they had run out of vanilla ice cream to make it. They were also unable to make my friend's black & white shake for the same reason so that was a big let down. I did have the Texas style chili cheese dog which was amazing. The hot sauce was a LOT spicier than I was expecting. My mouth was on fire and I had to sip water between each bite but it was well worth it. The fries with parmesan cheese & herb topping were pretty good too. I'll definitely go there again.

I went to Burgerfi while I was STARVING and couldn't quite decide what I wanted but the lady taking my order was patient while I decided. After me, my friend ordered but she wasn't that hungry, but she wanted something so all she wanted was one onion ring. The lady at the register didn't know what to do but out of nowhere the supervisor (Daniel Smith) showed up and was SUPER friendly and decided what to charge for one onion ring and took care of it quickly. After we got our food he came up the the table and asked how our food was. We loved it of course, and my friend asked where to get the ketchup and I asked where to get the water and he went and got both things for us. This is not a sit down restaurant with waiters and stuff so this was super nice! Also basically everything in the restaurant was recycled and the burger meat is ordered from an all natural company. No hormones, grass fed, etc.. This is amazing for me because I love organic, natural food. Overall my experience was brilliant!

So glad they opened on the beach. We have up north beach a bit too but this is closer. I don't like to normally review chain joints but this one is good. A great veggie burger and the deserts are outstanding. Lots of light and ambiance gives the south beach spot a nice setting. Enjoy!

    1. Prices of menu outside are outdated. 2. Cashier incredibly slow. 3. Order got lost which means I got my food over half an hour late. They offered to refund the order, but then had to refuse the refund due to some sort of system failure. 4. Food was ok. 5. Will not come back as there is a five guys less than two blocks away, which is cheaper and better.

Waited 1/2 hour for 3 cheese burgers and a conflicted burger all to go. After asking why our order wasn't out the cashier tells us they just began cooking it. Jason who welcomed us at the door upon entry was the only one who came to apologize for the delay. His apologized sincerely and was the only reason why we walked out with a smile. Although once we arrived home we noticed the conflicted burger which has a quinoa patty + beef patty was actually 2 beef patties. Once again we are grateful for Jason but nonetheless we won't be returning to South Beach location sadly.

I don't eat red meat so I planned on just getting french fries when I went in with some friends to get lunch but the guy at the register ended up convincing me to basically spend all my money on food. While I was waiting I was really regretting letting him talk me in to buying that much but once I got it I no longer regretted it. I got a veggie burger with a fried egg, fries and a vanilla shake. I could drink that shake and eat those fries for the rest of my life if it wouldn't drain all of my funds. The veggie burger was pretty good (I'm not really a veggie burger person though) my boyfriend thought it was great. All in all it was a good place to eat just expensive!

Disgusting. Dirty condiment area. Most of the sodas are empty. outside tables filthy. There were like two people in the whole place and 4 people working so no reason why the place should be looking like ultra music festival just came through and messed it up. I ordered the single burger which literally was so tiny I took 4 bites and it was gone and didn't have any flavor. my fries were stale and not fresh at all. some were some what tasty but not really. i ordered regular fries and they gave me their cry and fry fries which is onion rings and fries. I didn't want to eat all that anyway. so I said to the girl who delivered it to my table, I said I didn't order that, I ordered regular fries. She goes " oh well." oh.. I said " not oh well, they are 5.47 on this receipt and the regular fries are $2 cheaper" it wasn't just about the money. it's the fact I didn't order that and she said oh well. I said don't worry I'll go handle it. 1 because I have worked in restaurants before and I don't trust sending food back when a waitress is annoyed. She rolled her eyes and huffed and puffed . She asks a manager who isn't in uniform to credit me $2 and he gets annoyed and comes inside. (he was sitting outside at a table with a friend.) I was like im sorry that i disrupted you. he goes "just give her the $2". Like seriously? So rude. Then he goes im not even on the clock im not working. Oh really? cool. not my problem. honestly when I saw the dirty condiment area after the kid gave me a cup for my drink i wanted to walk out. I really did. but I thought I would give it a chance. I been here twice before. when it opened it was awesome. came a second time.. eh. This is the third time and I won't be back. I live 4 blocks away and I was debating even leaving my house at 11pm to go get food and I chose BF. what a waste. I could of got a whopper from BK and saved $5 and a headache. (even though I haven't even eaten at a BK in over 3years but you get my point) Obviously some cleanliness and some customer service skills need to be implemented here. The worst $13 I ever spent on fries and a burger. seriously. I took the fries back in and told him the fries were stale and I sorted through the ones that were edible. He offered a refund for my troubles but I declined. I didn't want a refund. I wanted a decent late night burger and some tasty fries to kill craving. He was nice but still. My stomach even has some little pains from the grease. Just 15 mins after eating. I'm a food blogger and I would have loved to feature them on my site but with service and quality, that's not gonna happen Get it together! Management and quality is no good. Best thing in there is the Peter Lugar sauce! I'm still sitting at this dirty table writing this!

Urban style fries were incredible, burger was really good even though it was a little bit smaller than I expected, I would've got a double patty had I known. Either way, phenomenal. I want more.

I seldom write a bad review, and if I go toward that direction, I tailor my review for the person/crowd, as what may not work for me may work for someone else. It's 3 a.m. and the 5 Guys I usually prefer for super late eating was closed due to electrical issues. I wasn't in the mood for Playa Cafe, gas station food or that one chicken shack on the beach that's forever open. Not a big fan of Cheeseburger Baby, I swept over to BurgerFi. I've dined in before. They usually have a bumpin' soundtrack and its mess hall seating is polished enough that I feel comfortable eating here as opposed to some of the South Beach hole-in-the-wall roach dens. The food is just OK. I guess since I work in a burger joint, I'm kind of spoiled when it comes to flavor. There's nothing really memorable about the version here at BurgerFi. It's ok and it suffices for those late-night cravings. But outside of that, meh. So again, I'm hungry, it's 3 a.m. I made the unfortunate mistake of napping after work and not waking up in time to hit the Publix for dinner, lol. I get to BurgerFi, waiting in a line full of drunken morons getting their life. Those extra few minutes gave me nothing but time to kind of just look around in patience. Just enough time, that is, to leer into an open kitchen and watch the prep on the line (the person who sets up the buns and fixings) running her hands through her hair/weave/whatever, grab a bun and start to fixing. Why don't you just vomit on the plate while you are at it? Anyways, things happen, but if you're going to work in an open kitchen, be on point. It worked out either way. After 4 seconds of debating on whether I was making too big a deal about this in my head, I ventured out and hit up Peppers. For the same $17 I would have spent at BF, I had a monstrous skirt steak, cheese enchiladas, rice and salad. #winning! All in all, BF is not awful. As a tourist, there's better places you can visit. But for a quick eat, it doesn't kill ya. I'll probably come back, if I'm forced to by late night hunger pangs, but today, I was mortified by the whole hair in hand fiasco.

The cashier told me it would be six to eight minutes. They weren't busy and it took thirty minutes and when it did come out, they got it wrong and I asked for my money back. The cashier went back at one point to try to speed things up but she did not appear to have ever been in a kitchen before, and it didn't help much. They also don't know how to make burgers. I watched the chef repeatedly press each burger into the flat top. this dries them out by pressing out the natural juices. I suspect this is a franchise that was bought by some kid who inherited a lot of money from his parents and thought that he could hire a bunch of illiterate kids at minimum wage to run the place and then watch the money roll in. Whoever owns this place needs to get a legit manager in there, pay enough to get people who aren't illiterate to work there, and kick some ass. I suggest going a few doors down to the pizza joint; it takes about two minutes to get a hot lice and the price is reasonable. ***Notice a 'social media manager' with Burgerfi tried to explain that the reason their service was so shitty wasn't because they hired the cheapest employees they could find and then did not train or manage them properly, but the service was complete shit because... THEY CARE AND ONLY USE THE FINEST INGREDIENTS. Totally tone deaf. I wonder what will open up here next?

Despite the really good burgers that they're known for, the service here needs to be reevaluated. There are burgerfi's all over the country and we could've tried it at our hometown but decided since we're in miami, why not? Anyways, not only were we the only table in the restaurant, but our order was given to the second table that came in after us. Two things are wrong here, why are the customers being serve before us when we came in before them? Second, the customers opened up our food and burgers and when they came to realize that the order was wrong, told the server, and you know what the server does?! She redirect the food to our table after my girlfriend already seen the customers peek through our burgers and all! I felt like that was disgusting of them to even think we were going to eat the burgers after someone else had their hands on it. We requested new burgers and new burgers were what we got, thankfully. Lucky the burgers were good or else the rating would've been a star lower! Overall, good burger spot, clean place, nice manager, but the service or staff needs to be worked on.

Very good , nice stylish modern ambiance, very very nice customer service from the guy who took the order till the waiter and the woman who brought some treats to try I was impressed . I cant be leave I say this for a hamburger joint ;) it's on pair with my fav. The shake shack great juicy burgers nice try the breakfast burger with eggs and pancakes ;)) or the secret menus!!! The mushroom burger and esp the delicious huge! onion rings . All made fresh doesn't take long. That's the new high standard of a hamburger joint!

  • Filipe A.

It's not HORRIBLE but it's nothing to write home about. If you are not going to season your patties, you have to make sure you season SOMETHING in the burger because just bland meat + the vegetables will not enhance any of the flavors in the burger. There is NOTHING special about this burger. And it is expensive! It cost about $7.50 for an all the way double with mushrooms. But it is very small! Although the shakes there are very good! Five Guys is a much better choice in my opinion.

  • Esmeralda G.

Nice place for a late night snack. Good not much verity of burgers, but the fries were great and came with massive beer battered onion rings. The service was okay, it looks nice inside, but we're out of ketchup at the time. It's a copy of five guys, better looking from the inside but five guys is better. The burger here was small.

  • Leeza H.

The server at the counter looked like she would rather be anywhere than at work the day we visited. And as we waited for our food I noticed it wasn't just us she treated this way. The burgers were very average in my opinion, they looked like the patties had been cooked hours before and then slapped onto a bun with no care. The fries were cold and tasted terrible. I would not go back.

Great selection of beers on tap. Very convenient location and hours, for those who crave greasy late night munchies livin la vida loca on south beach. The veggie burger is probably one of the best I have ever had, ever. Order the patty fried and I actually think it's better than the beef burger. I only give it 4 stars because the prices are little high for what you get; but the fried veggie burger alone is worth the money and the visit.

This is direct competition for the Shake Shack & Five Guys locations here on South Beach. Personally I like the menu here compared to the other burger joints. They even have a "secret menu" that is not part of the menu board. I hope they can stay in business at this location as it is a welcome addition to the beach.

We love coming to this place. The burgers are always delicious every time. The manager at this location was very friendly as well and made sure everything was ok. We came all the way from Kendall because the Gables location was closed- that's how much we like Burgerfi :)

Upgrade from the fast food burger chains, but still a factory burger. Soft buns / thin burger patty / and you pick the toppings ! Fresh fries to order with a choice of chilli or cheese or plain. I ordered a "concrete" milk shake ... !!! Its a mix of dairy queen parfait with layers of flavor and a smooth milk shake. When I have a craving for a burger served on a tray/basket with a nice eating area with TVS . I'll be back

2 stars only because it is very clean on the inside. The burgers are just boring and not worth $7 each. Single with cheddar, Peter Lugers steak sauce and some other items. What a rip off. The burger tasted like I bad mistake and now I'm left with the bad taste in my mouth. The burger was very thin and no flavor. Fries like $3, so better off going to another burger place or five guys.

I had a very good experience, Robert was very helpful in selecting what I wanted, the food was great, convenient hours for the beach night life, I've been to Burgerfi before but the one on Washington Avenue in Miami beach is the best, I would recommend this one to al my friends

Walked into this place after seeing an hearing about it several times. I ordered the Chicago style dog that even had the sport peppers. So what did I do after, ordered another. Best Chicago style dog next to Portillo's which is actually in Chicago. I also had the Urban French fries with the garlic aioli dipping sauce and they were divine. Being located at the beach is the only headache because of parking. Washed it down with an Abita Purple Haze. The staff and ambiance were really nice too. On the funny side, we got towed by Tremont Towing !

First time trying, never heard of this place. Menu had burgers and hot dogs. I was skeptical too, but this place is pretty good. Its not in n out or five guys, but decent competitor. Serve alcohol here, several big screen tvs, free wifi. I got the burgerfi cheeseburger, comes with 2 beef patties. Pretty tasty. Id eat again for sure.

This place is fantastic! The burgers are flavorful and juicy, the fries are very good and the shakes are really good as well. The atmosphere is fun and clean the staff is friendly. I also love the fact that you can make your own burger and it's not badly priced either. I find myself craving these burgers quite often. Will keep going back again and again!

they didn't even charge my friend for her beer and then they mixed up my order and gave my burger to christina and i had to wait for 30 minutes and all my friends had finished their meals. my other friend didn't even get lettuce on her burger. also my other friend was able to get in his car and go to 16th and get subway and meet us with his food before i even got mine. how embarrassing. and we were drunk so we were really hungry. like come on this is south beach. and then worst of all they didn't even apologize. NEVER COMING BACK. THEN they offered me a shake for my troubles and i asked for a beer and they didn't even card me. SCANDALOUS.

I know that this review won't stick, none of my reviews stick and I honestly don't know why I bother but here goes. The food is good, I've eaten inside the restaurant and I've ordered food to go. They are a bit on the pricey side but I guess it's ok if you're in the mood for a good burger every once in a while. Today was my first time ordering for deliver. They forgot my milkshake. That ruined my meal because I was so looking forward to eating my meal with my milkshake. They couldn't tell me when I can expect my milkshake either. I'm sure they'll forget again. I feel I might have to drive there to get reimbursed for the shake and the $3 delivery fee. I was trying to avoid driving. I just wanted to RELAX and be lazy on my day off. Now I'm annoyed. My recommendation, NEVER order your food for delivery at this place, they may screw up your order and make you wait hours for the resolution. SMDH.

The burgers here are freaking amazing. Delicious. I got the Burgerfi Cheeseburger witth bacon (automatically comes with double patty) I can have like 4! Well that's the problem, burgers are a little on the small side. I'm not a size queen but only when it comes to food. I guess the flavor made up for the size. The cool thing about this place is that they have specials, like a free beer or wine with your purchase of food. You can also do half fries and half onion rings. If you're walking around after a long day at the beach or been drinking, this place definitely hits the spot.

    (3)
  • Melissa T.

Management contacted me after my last review to send them an email and someone from the restaurant to contact me. I appreciated the thought but I wanted to try the restaurant again without anyone double checking my order. I got the cheeseburger, regular fries, and strawberry shake. The fries were much hotter and crispier this time. If I weren't moving tomorrow, I would definitely be back.

  • Adam G.

Worst service but great ambience. Five guys burgers are better but these are pretty good. The people that work there are horrible. They answer the phone and take delivery orders instead of serving you when you're right in front of them. Had them get my order wrong or give my order to someone else on three different occasions and give attitude about it. I recommend demanding free beer or frozen concrete from the manager when the my mess up.

This place is awesome! I'm not sure why it isn't rated better than Top Burger. The environment and decor on the inside is very up to date and the service was exceptional. My husband and I got a draft beer a piece, and loaded (lots of toppings) natural juicy burgers and hand cut fries for only $35. In Miami this is hard to find. Great lunch spot!

My wife and I went here recently and were impressed by the burgers and fries. It's a fast food restaurant, but the food is quite satisfying and doesn't leave you feeling fuzzy from the abundance of artificial additives and chemicals. The menu is straight forward, and they serve wine and beer, like most fast food restaurants in Florida. I had a big, double cheeseburger with the garlic aioli cheese fries, which were excellent, and a cold beer. The food was simple, but extremely tasty. My wife enjoyed her meal as well, and she also loved the aioli fries. The portions are large, the service is fast and friendly, the restaurant is impressively clean and the seating is comfortable. The buns are also branded with the 'BurgerFi' logo, a nice touch. It was very hot out the day we ate here, over 90 degrees, and half the clientele was picking up take out orders, while the other half was seated inside, but there was one intrepid female customer eating outside at the alfresco sidewalk tables; apparently she wanted to keep her food hot as she ate it. We would definitely recommend this restaurant, with the note that it is 'fast food,' but very good fast food indeed. We would definitely go here again for lunch. Simple, delicious, satisfying and great friendly service. Solid four stars, and I have never given a 'fast food' restaurant more than a three star review.

Excellent burgers and fries. They lose stars for two big reasons. One, there are horribly slow and understaffed. Painfully slow. Two, they play horrible hardcore rap music, loudly, and it's grating. Maybe some people like this, but as a restaurant, they could stand to play something a little more neutral.

Ordered take out on my first visit. While the feeling is a bit "shake-shacky" in my opinion the food was better. I found metered parking less than a block away and put in couple quarters. I ordered the Vegefi burger & Urban fries. The burger was definitely one of the best vegetarian burgers at a "fast-food" type place. The fries were good but the garlic aioli really hit the spot. Not to mention they have the coca-cola freestyle machines! Will definitely return when craving a veggie burger.

On point. Colleague of mine said they were the best burgers in Miami. Skeptical as I am a shake shack followed by 5 guys fan. But blew both of those establishments out the water. The burgers are delicious yet feel way more lighter than SS or 5G. Fries were deliciously simple along with the onion rings...and corona light on tap.

rip off of beloved shake shack, from the menu to the design to the well everything. burgers are too greasy - soaks the bun, fries go cold very fast. only thing going are the onion rings, but you only get 3 with the half fries/half rings combo. gave them 3 chances, not likely to return.

Well I had a BurgerFi burger with hickory bacon and cheese, Cry & Fries (onion and fresh cut fries) along with red velvet shake today on the opening day of BurgerFi on Miami Beach. I must say its not bad at all. It's like a cross between Five Guys and Shake Shack. The prices were reasonable but this is speciality restaurant so you'll pay a bit more but worth it. The food was overall great and yummy. The shake absolutely amazing! The BurgerFi staff was friendly n professional...outstanding. I love the decor but the fake flowers seemed too much for a burger place. In all, I love BurgerFi and glad it's in the neighborhood since I live a block away. I can't wait to come back again.

Food is good but wow it took a long time (almost 20 minutes) for a burger and fries. I was over it before the food came. About 9 people working there but not flowing too well. I would have liked it if they could just serve a burger, menu looks healthy

This location has the worst customer service. Not rude just inept. Or not trained properly. From my burned burger cooked so much it crunched and was shrunk. Smashed bun and uncooked onion rings. And the front counter is like watching a bunch of people picked up from nowhere and told to start working today without training. No clue what to do. If you don't check your bag you will be missing a few things. I know this but last time I watched a bunch of people come back who didn't know to triple check everything. This was the last time for me. Something is always wrong here and I watch the people in front of me have one problem after another as well. Bye BugerFi.

The B.A.D. burger is anything but! Breakfast anytime on a toasty bun. I love this place and I have been here several times. All of my love to anyplace that manages to shove as much stuff between two buns as these guys do and still have it come together so deliciously.

My wife had a cheeseburger today from here around 5 pm and by 6 pm she spent the rest of the evening suffering from food poisoning in the bathroom. They need to clean their kitchen and train their staff on food prep or have the health department figure it out for them. Skip this place for now!

I, like other locals, really want to like this place, but the service staff just cannot get it together. The first time I chalked it up to beginners jitters. Came back for take out. Awful service. Third time. Waited in line with 3 other families waiting. After waiting for a while the counter gay looked up and told us all we would not be waited on till we stood in another line. Everyone walked out. Not trying it again. There are plenty of great burger places on the beach to settle for bad service.

What I love about this place is they have the option of a "green burger"! What that means there is you can substitute the bread/bun for lettuce. They make it up really nice with huge thick lettuce leaves as your "bun". If you ask for extra pickles, they don't disappoint. Their sauerkraut is delicious. They also have a fancy drink station with just about everything you can imagine....club soda, ginger ale, powerade, and much more! Like a lot of other people are saying on here...it is kind of like Shake Shack, but I think it's way better! Also, they are open super late, which is a huge plus!

Food was great. I would go there again although I'd keep a seat in front of the kitchen to keep an eye on my food. The cashier bringing the food to the tables had picked at fries off another persons order before being it to them. Made me a little anxious to keep an eye on my own food.

Okay so I got a veggie burger it was 7 bucks then with a drink and tax it came to $11. The burger was so small for what you are paying for, secondly it was burnt to a crisp. When I mean burnt I mean completely charred black. It was disgusting. I'm never eating here again.

I've been here twice, I agree with the reviews here being a mix between Shake Shack and Five Guys. Burgers the size of Shake Shack, fries similar to five guys. My only complaint is that their fries needs work, ordered the fries in their special menu. The first order was too salty, and very soggy although I told them make it well done. The second time I ordered it was too bland, and I specifically said to make it well done, it was still very soggy. My advice, order the burger but skip the fries.

Great tasting, fresh, moist burgers. Only complaints, the prices are way too high and the counter service is lacking in basic communication skills. Point in case, $2.77 for a fountain drink?? Really? Really? I don't care what people say regarding this is South Beach... blah blah. Being ripped off is the same anywhere. Communication, on more than one occasion the person taking my order was talking at such a low tone that I literally had to lean in to the counter and ask them to repeat themselves multiple times. Awkward. Also, last night a man passing out a promotion for $1 billed it as "order anything on the menu and get fries for a $1". After completing my order, trying for the first time a chicken hotdog, I was surprised at the total only to be done the $1 fries promo only applies when you order a burger and drink (as its states on the card). Not a big deal, but dude at the door should know what he is passing out. That being said, the quality of the food is amazing. I've been now over 6 times. The burgers never disappoint. Better than Five Guys (and this kills me because I'm from Northern VA, where Five Guys began) and better than Shake Shake, and much less of the weirdo euro tourist crowd that clogs Lincoln Rd. I would go more often if the prices were lower or they offered some type of rewards points program for regulars. Other than that, $15 for burger, drink, and fries is too high for anything other than the random occasional visit.

Stopped here for lunch with my fiance. I got the regular burger, he got the cheeseburger, and we got regular fries to share. Food was delish! We both really liked it. Staff was polite and the service was fast. Oh and they have one of those fun coca cola soda machines so you can get all sorts of different drinks. Overall we really enjoyed it.

Veggie burger very good but too small-was still hungry. But the key lime concrete filled me to the point of feeling over stuffed-Haha... Van. custard with big pieces of really good key lime pie throughout it. It was great! Want to try red velvet one next.

Our family went here a few weeks ago for dinner. They were trying to get people in by giving them cards that are good for a free jr, sunday. We ordered and ate then our son went up to the counter for his free sunday and was turned down. They said he had to order it WITH the meal not after he was done eatinng. Really???? So, dad had to go talk with the manager and he got some soft serve in a cup. Not very happy with the lack of customer service. Keep in mind the place was NOT busy. Food quality would be a 4 star, customer service a 2 star.

The onion rings are everything. It's amazing how everything stays hot and crispy on the walk home from here! I guess that's what fresh and REAL ingredients will do

Great staff! Almost feels like you've known them your whole life! Food is great! Definitely up there if not better than 5 guys, shake shack, smash, etc. If I lived in SOBE this would be the place you would always find me at!

I came here on the grand opening. I ordered a Burgerfi burger and fries with cheese. It was so delicious. The regular order of fries is more than enough for two people. The prices are fair considering you are in the middle of the beach. We then ordered dessert with vanilla ice cream, red velvet cake and a brownie. It was a great way to end such a tasty meal. I will definitely be back again.

Beef good as Angus should be, will edit after Kobe dog is experienced. Didn't see pickles or jalapeño as toppings here. Sad. Overblown onion ring quality in reviews. Truly, they are large, but excess bland batter takes on only the hint of old fryer oil--sad people feel these are approaching the best they've had...

Went to BurgerFi this evening, the burgers were delicious as were the fries. We liked that we could order beer or wine with our burgers, that's a big plus. The only concern we had was that the buns on our burgers were very soggy. This place is more upscale than 5 Guys burgers, yet still very casual.

Great burgers. Love that they offer a green version with lettuce instead of a bun. Awesome flavor. Love it. My new favorite burger joint!

Stopped in randomly during a weekend trip to Miami. This place had some of the best customer service I've experienced from this type of establishment. Due to the line and other minor issues going on while waiting, the lady taking our order, provided several items for FREE off of our order and provided fantastic follow up to make sure our experience ended well. Not sure if I'll be back to miami, but if I am I'll be sure to eat there again. If other locations of this restaurant are like this, I'll be eating there as well.

After management reached out and offered me another shot I tried them again today. I got the same thing as last time but minus the parmesan on the fries. It was a world of difference. I'm glad I gave them another shot and the staff were friendlier than a basket of kittens about the whole thing. Safe to say I'll definitely be back soon! I still need to try their frozen shakes and things.

I love Five Guys, but I think I love BurgerFi more... the half-and-half burger is awesome. This is my #1 burger spot on SoBe (although, to be fair, I haven't tried Umami yet).

this burger is AMAZING. i didnt get all the extra crap that hides the taste of a burger. my feeling is you get cheese, ketchup, pickles, mustard and lettuce and let the burger speak for itself. you can add other basic additions like onions and tomatoes. that's what i did and it was awesome. the service was awesome too. the manager that night was originally from NYC (i think) and he was really nice. the young lady taking my order was very patient with the BurgerFi newbie and was very nice. the place was clean and my first bite into the burger felt like heaven. the bun, the meat, the condiments, it was burger heaven. the fries.....hmmmm not so much. fries are the homemade straight from a potatoe type of fries and i LOVE those, but i like mine with some crisp. these were soggy and soggy fries = soaked in oil. i just can't eat oil soaked fries. maybe i got a bad batch. since i had never come before i wasn't if this is how it was or if maybe they could be better. burger was a little greasy but gosh it was worth it. i hope they come to my area one way. loved them.
